Customers expect the brands they buy from, to know them and know who they are. Retailers today are leveraging the power of AI and Machine Learning to bring convenience to customers and effectively and efficiently tweak their own business model.
Data is the new currency and its very powerful as the ones who harness the power of insights from the data will stay and others will get wiped out. At Office Depot we leveraged data to build a product recommendation model for customers buying online and for email personalization. Initial results from these models look promising and we are further enhancing these models to inform our customer personalization strategy.
